born in Herne (Germany) in 1993, is a composer and pianist from Berlin. He mostly works in the fields of film music, improvised music and sound art.
He was the pianist of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Germany (BuJazzO), finalist of several international piano competitions (Montreux Piano Solo Competition a.o.) and participant of masterclasses in the fields of both jazz and contemporary music (e.g. with Helmut Lachenmann or IRCAM ManiFeste Académie).
As a film composer, he worked for cinema and television as well as theatre and dance-performances; as a sound artist he took part in group exhibitions in Berlin, Paris and Venice.
After finishing his studies in both classical and jazz piano at Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and the University of the Arts Berlin, he studied composition for screen at Filmuniversität Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf" and the Royal College of Music London, as well as classical piano improvisation at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP; lessons with Thierry Escaich and Jean-François Zygel, a.o.).

Nach Beendigung seiner Studien in den Fächern klassische Instrumentalausbildung und Jazzklavier an der Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen und der Universität der Künste Berlin studierte er zeitweise Improvisation am Pariser Konservatorium (Unterricht u.a. bei Thierry Escaich und Jean-François Zygel) und absolvierte schließlich den Master Filmmusik-Komposition an der Filmuniversität Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf" und dem Royal College of Music London.
